Avid Chicago runner? Me too.. I guess, or trying to be. The best investment I made last year was investing in the RAM Racing Season Pass last year, and then again this year. I mean, I’m not going to lie, if I don’t plan runs and triathlons for spring through fall, I’m afraid I will just be some lazy lady lounging around watching netflix and HBO… so I need a little motivation to get myself going! I used to LOATHE running, I don’t so much anymore, the longer the distance (in a race) the better. Signing up for all these actually make me get up and work out in the wee hours of the morning.
Let’s be honest, I also do it for the swag. The t-shirts, the medals, the hats, the bags, you name it, it’s a perk. I’d much rather collect these actually very nice t-shirts and long sleeves over wearing my junky old college t-shirts any day. Since there’s not too many Chicago running races besides Fleet Feet’s & RAM Racing’s, I’m thrilled to check out the list between the two of them. The pass also lets you register for one of the shorter runs, then you can go back and pay like $15 if you want to up the distance!
The Season pass allows you access to some of the best chicago running events like:
- 2016 Cinco de Miler
- 2016 North Shore Classic (5k)
- 2016 Big Foot Trail (5k) and Triathlon
- 2016 Big Ten (5k)
- 2016 Humboldt Park
- 2016 Bucktown (if you haven’t seen the sweatshirt for this – get ON it)
- 2016 Hot Chocolate Chicago (5k)
- 2016 North Shore Turkey Trot (5k)
- 2016 Rudolph Ramble
I mean those are all the most iconic and fun races in Chicago, especially the hot chocolate chicago run! What are you waiting for? Sign up and start registering for some races, you know you’ll see me there!
